HOW TO WASH A WIG

Uncombed wigs can get tangled in the hair while washing. So comb your wig well using a wide-toothed and pin-tipped wig brush. Then prepare some warm and shampooed water in a container where the wig can fit to wash the wig. Dip the wig parallel to the water you have prepared and remove it. While putting the wig in and out of the water in this way, gently stroke it with your hand from top to bottom without disturbing its stance. After repeating this process a few times, rinse your wig under the running tap by rubbing it from top to bottom without disturbing the form of the wig.

After rinsing your wig well, prepare a mixture of warm water and cream in the same bowl. Lay your rinsed wig on its side parallel to the water and dip it out. Thanks to this process, your wig will be easier to comb and will look better. Soak the wig in creamy water for a few minutes. But don't twirl your wig while in creamy water.

Rinse your wig, which you have kept in creamy water, under running water. Lay your rinsed wig on a towel without losing its shape and let it dry. The wig will dry by itself.

Synthetic wigs have a structure that is not suitable for processing with hot water. Your wig will be damaged in processes such as tongs, blow dryer or contact with hot water. You can adjust your wig washing frequency according to your usage. Since lubrication in wigs occurs later than natural hair, it will be sufficient to wash them with an average of 10-14 days. It is useful to be careful when choosing the shampoo and conditioner you will use while choosing your wig. Make sure that the products you choose are suitable for sensitive hair. If you wish, you can use baby shampoo for washing wigs.

If you have a wig mannequin, keep your wig on it. If you use it correctly, you can use your wig for an average of 1 year with the same quality and beauty as on the first day. Never apply dye to synthetic wigs.
